With the advent of new techniques, instruments and materials in recent years; the aim of this presentation is to review some of the changes infiltrating practice today.

We aim to cover the science around the use of piezosurgery in extractions as well as the relevance of the use of biomaterials in maintaining ridge anatomy and the preservation of bone as part of pre-implant treatment.

The evening will be both lecture and practical based so that delegates have the opportunity to try these techniques first hand.
