We are pleased to be fully open and caring for patients at Hartog Dental.

In light of the recent Government announcement on 4th January 2020, I would like to reassure you that Hartog Dental will operate as normal throughout this further lockdown. We will continue to enforce all of our additional safety measures following our Covid-19 procedures which were approved by the CQC on 20th May 2020.

Now, more than ever, it is crucial for dentists to play their part in looking after the healthcare of their patients.

Government guidance is explicitly that people should, where possible, continue with all of their healthcare appointments.

The British Association of Private Dentistry recently tweeted… “private practices will remain OPEN.It’s safe and essential to attend the dentist…”

At Hartog Dental we are stepping up to play our vital part in caring for patients and protecting the NHS.

I am sure you are all aware, due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, we were forced to temporarily close the practices to all routine and face to face care from 25th March 2020. It was utterly heart breaking to have had our hands tied during this time and led to a back log of appointments that we haven’t yet cleared so please give us a call to ensure you get an appointment.

We have put in an extra upstairs surgery in Twyford and taken on lovely new clinicians to ensure that you can have the treatment that you need, when you need it.

You will appreciate I’m sure that as a private dental practice we work in an environment where the prevention of the spread of a whole range of infections is woven into everything that we do, every minute of every day and we operate scrupulous cross infection and decontamination control

Hartog Dental - ITN NEWS

Weather we are welcoming you back or its your first visit to Hartog Dental we would like to tell you about a few of the additions we have made to protect the health and wellbeing of all our patients and staff alike.

You will receive an email and personal telephone call a few days before you are due to see us to check that you are well.

When you attend your appointment please wait by the front door for one of us to meet you and guide you into the surgery, this is so we can check your temperature before taking a seat.

All our surgeries and waiting areas now have been fitted with top of the range Radic8 air purifiers which changes the air 12 times an hour and kills 99.97% of bacteria and viruses.  So we will all share clean air.

We will offer you PPE (gloves and a mask) to wear prior to your face to face consultation.

We will also be wearing all the top of the range PPE so will look a little spaceman like!

We will give you a nice tasting virus killing mouthwash prior to any treatment.

We can ask for payment remotely again to prevent you having to touch anything.

If you would like to request a REMOTE CONSULTATION to talk to one of our dentists from the comfort of your own home please do so.

Thank you for staying safe.
